Surgery
We perform a complete physical exam prior to all sedation and anesthesia procedures. We recommend pre-anesthetic blood work prior to all procedures.
We offer the option of an intravenous catheter and intravenous fluids as support during anesthesia. We monitor all animals with a pulse oximeter which measures heart rate and oxygen levels in the blood. In addition, some animals will also be monitored with a high definition oscillometer for continuous blood pressure measurements.
The doctors are competent in a wide array of soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries. These include surgical conditions of the ears, gastrointestinal system, the reproductive system, the urinary tract, and bones and joints. We also perform all routine surgeries, such as spays and neuters.
Dentistry
Our dental services include a complete oral exam and cleaning and polishing teeth under anesthesia, as well as extracting teeth that are infected and loose. Oral x-rays are available to evaluate both tooth and mouth problems.
We can also apply the sealant, OroVet after a teeth cleaning and show owners how to continue to apply it periodically at home. Diseases of the gums can also be addressed at the time of the teeth cleaning.
